We claimed that there are over 400 million cats in the world, but that was then. This is now, and there are anything from 600 million to one billion cats in the world. The site has been updated to reflect this new data and we apologise for appearing to mislead. 

This sizeable increase obviously means that the masterplan for Feline World Domination is on course. There are 8 billion humans on the planet. The cats are catching up.
