Today, February 17,  it is World Cat Day in USA. The day was chosen to commemorate the mighty Socks Rodham Clinton, who died on this day in 2009 What a tux he was. 

World Cat Day, or Giornata mondiale del gatto, has been celebrated in Italy since 1990, when it was established by cat loving journalist cat-loving Italian journalist Claudia Angeletti. And in Poland, Swiatowy Dzień Kota has been celebrated since 2006, initiated by Cat Club Lodz.
