Tuxedo Cat Appreciation Day
Monday, 29 January 2024 12:37
Today, January 29, we celebrate Tuxedo Cat Appreciation Day. (This is different from Tuxie Appreciation Day, September 9, which we will be marking when the time comes.)
Here is a shot of Cary Grant, the most cat of all humans, demonstrating effortless physical and mental skills while wearing a tuxedo. Like you, he makes it look easy. It isn’t. We really appreciate it
Now, we have already celebrated the official Smartest Cats in the Room in a general way on November 29 (see below, National Tuxedo Cat Day), so today the focus is on appreciating them.
Belvedere and I have been debating how best to do this.
He suggests that we stretch out somewhere warm, enter a state of deep relaxation, focus our minds, attune to the feliverse and send Appreciative Thoughts through the ether.
I suggest we consult our database of tuxedo colleagues and send them, and their staff, a small token of our esteem.
We cannot agree. This often happen, but the grit of conflict often produces a pearl of solution (© 2024 Belvedere and Belvedere).
So, as we are the SM arm of the Clowder Press, we will disseminate appreciation via this blog, on X and Insta.
Tuxedo cats of the world, we truly appreciate your magnificent smartness, agility, brain, charm, work ethic and unparalleled style.
